The UNC Network Explorer is the public view of activity on the UNC network. It reports the current state of the chain as it updates, so anyone can verify network data independently rather than relying on figures shown inside the app.

What this explorer shows

Looking things up

You can search the explorer by block, by transaction, or by address. Each one answers a different question, and knowing which to use makes the explorer far more useful than simply reading the headline numbers on this page.

Searching a block shows everything confirmed together in that batch, along with when it was produced. Searching a transaction shows its status, the amount moved, and the time it was included, which is how you check whether a transfer actually went through rather than assuming it did. Searching an address shows its balance and full history.

Why verify independently

An explorer matters because it is the one place a balance can be checked without trusting the application that reported it. If an app shows you a number, the explorer is where you confirm that number is real. A balance that cannot be verified anywhere outside the app that displays it is not something you should rely on, and that principle applies to any crypto project, not only this one.

Explorers show addresses rather than identities. Addresses are not names, and the explorer makes no claim about who controls any given address.

Reading the numbers

Total users and verified users are worth reading together rather than separately. The gap between them is the share of accounts that have not completed verification, which is the figure that matters on a network whose whole premise is one real person to one identity.

Active miners counts participants currently taking part in sessions, which will always be lower than total users, since not everyone who registers keeps checking in. Total mined and chain supply describe how much UNC has been allocated so far rather than how much anyone could sell, because before mainnet there is nowhere to sell it.

Pre-mainnet status

UNC has not launched on mainnet. The figures reported here are network data, not a market price. Pre-mainnet UNC cannot currently be sold, traded on an exchange, or converted into cash, and it may never have a monetary value. Treat what you see here as a record of network activity rather than as a statement about worth.
